Sorting boards and rainbow friends Grimm's
This classic toy will accompany your child for a long time. Even the youngest children love taking the seven friends out of their wooden bowls, turning the bowls upside down, stacking them, and putting the little figures back in. They rediscover skills and abilities and do things again and again until they've become second nature. Eventually, the friends can be matched to their corresponding colored bowls, which can then be used in a play shop or as little teacups.
The seven friends, with their diverse colors and wood types, reflect the wonderful variety of our world while celebrating the uniqueness of each individual. Each hand-painted wooden figurine has a different expression and individual grain.
These cheerful little wooden figures, made from various and typical local woods of Central Europe, are gender-neutral and can be both sad and happy because they have no fixed facial expression.
Their minimalist design stimulates children's imaginations instead of limiting them with too many details.
Besides matching and sorting, the 7 friends in wooden bowls can also be used as a weekly calendar: Each little man is assigned a day of the week and for each day that has passed, a little man is placed on his wooden bowl until a week has passed and all 7 friends can hop back into their wooden bowls so that a new week can begin.
